The NEXTflex Pre- and Post- Capture Combo Kit (Agilent SureSelectXT Compatible) is a complete Illumina®-compatible library prep solution designed for DNA library preparation, multiplexing, and barcode blocking upstream of Agilent SureSelectXT target enrichment systems.

Please note that these kits are designed to be used with Agilent's SureSelectXT target capture systems. The NEXTflex Pre- and Post- Capture Combo Kits we launched earlier this year (Cat # 5144-51 through 5144-57) are designed to be used with SureSelectXT2 target enrichment systems.

 

The primary advantages that this kit offers over the Agilent SureSelectXT Reagent Kit are:

  • NEXTflex Rapid DNA-Seq protocol reduces the number of steps required for library prep
  • Index-specific blocking oligos offer a higher percentage of on-target reads
  • Post-hybridization amplification is performed "off-bead", offering more robust amplification and better coverage
